Postnatal Growth Chart & Trajectory

Postnatal growth in very preterm infants follows a different path from intrauterine growth. This tool plots an infant's weight, length, and head-circumference measurements against the 2023 postnatal reference charts (Chou et al.) by gestational-age group and sex, reporting z-scores and percentiles at each point and the single trajectory z-score/percentile that best summarizes the trajectory. Track multiple patients — saved privately in your browser — and export to Excel.

Runs in your browser — patient data stays on this device. Works offline once downloaded.

Download for offline use

Offline copy: download the file above and open it in Chrome or Edge for the full feature set (the live “link a local Excel file” auto-save needs those browsers). Import/Export works in any browser.

Frequently asked questions

How is the trajectory z-score derived?

A least-squares constant-z fit across the entered measurements summarises the infant's growth path relative to the reference.

Does the patient data leave my device?

No — data stays in your browser (and an optional local Excel file you link). Nothing is sent to a server, and the tool can be downloaded to run fully offline.
